Verse #1: Non-disclosed Fantasy
A sorceress by birth, born and raised near a forest to Wei and Daiyu Zhù, baker-confectionist and a seamstress respectfully.Her home is deep inside a forest and almost looks like a part of it with vine and moss decorating some of the wood and roof. Her garden is large and abundant with different vegetables, fruits and herbs.Even if she is "The Forest Sorceress" her powers range further than that. She has spells that control and break the elements, most of which she can do without speaking.
She is masterful at healing, mending all from broken bones, burns and internal bleeding to small cuts and bruises; however she cannot fuse limbs back together nor mend mental wounds or illnesses.
Mundane, everyday spells go without saying.The rest of those will need to be discovered by you as time goes on.For muses like pirates or usual townspeople she can live a bit closer to a town but it depends on who I write with.
Verse #2: The Lord of The Rings
A sorceress by birth, born to and raised by Wei and Daiyu Zhù, baker-confectionist and a seamstress respectfully, near a forest. Her power range is just like described before.Just like before you can find her in the depths of a forest, specifically a forest in Gondor.
Not many know of her but she is there assisting a local town with healing their sick and wounded as well as guarding the town from afar; keeping orcs and bandits away.She can be a prized ally, or a powerful enemy, but she gives you time to choose which path she'll take, after all: many who stumble into her forest often seek her aid. .
Verse #3: Modern/Modern-Fantasy
There are two ways she can appear in the modern world.1- Born and raised in Xijiang Miao Village, China, Maylin moved abroad at 20 in search for new experiences. She studies, graduates and decides to stay.Still a sorceress but hiding in plain sight in fear of hunters that she has been warned about her entire life.2- (Rare) Maylin has lived through it all, hidden for the most part but always aware and lurking. By now, in 202X her hair, eyelashes and eyebrows have turned white as snow.Why?
She has taken a potion to remain alive, one that she has to drink every 200-years and it has served her well. She took it as a promise to her grandmother, who did not complete all her tasks, to stay and complete her own as well as hers.Why stay for so long? She has always lived knowing that knowledge is power and wishes to learn more from all kinds of people and since she has the time, why rush?——In both: Maylin owns a café called The Forest Haven, where she serves a list of things from salty to sweet; cakes, bagels, cookies, coffee and more!
It is a quiant but beautiful place and she runs it all on her own Monday-Friday 8-18 and Saturday 10-17. She also sells jams, juices, breads and a-like right from a shelf by the counters. These items stay fresh longer thanks to some helpful magic~All of the food is homemade and she uses most of her own vegetables and fruit from her garden that blooms year in-year out with no worry for seasonal change, watering or needing to separate items by their habits.She lives in a small fixed-up home just outside of town with a garden grand enough to keep her business stable.
Verse #3: Royal Verses
Two different kinds of stories are available for Maylin.1- Her mother's family is a loved noble family in China so by extension she is her golden daughter, but also a dot of shame, being the only girl, and sorceress, from a pile of 6 grandchildren.She often visits different royal balls and gatherings in the world with her cousins, maternal grandmother and grandfather since they wish to socialize even outside of their towns back home.2- She comes from a regular town but her grandmother is called to be a lady-in-waiting/teacher/advisor/protector of someone of noble or royal blood.
They choose her with knowledge of her powers but since her grandmother is too old to step in for the job, Maylin takes her place.In both she is very homesick and though still her bubbly self, it takes longer for her to open up given all the circumstances.
